Superb Edition 100 pd130 Manual

Featured Replies

Up for sale is my recently acquired MK1 Superb Edition 100.

One of only 500 in the world and 200 in the UK B)

I bought this with the intention of using it as our only car but it's far too big for the other half so we are getting something smaller and easier to park!

When I bought it it had a few known issues but they have all been sorted

I bought 3 new reversing sensors and a front xenon level sensor. Its all running perfect now and no faults come up with the VCDS. I have re-sealed the pollen filter and the carpets are perfectly dry. My next job was to 'free' off the pinch bolts but due to my recent shoulder operation I have not been up to the task, I have, however, soaked the bolts with Plus-gas at least once a day to aid there removal when the time comes.

I have done about a thousand miles in it and its brilliant, so much room and plenty of toys.

It even has the original Skoda umbrella and looks unused!

It's also got the more desirable engine/gearbox combination being a pd130 manual.

Mileage: 106,000

Full service history (next service about 6k miles)

Cambelt done 2 years/25k miles ago.

2 flip keys plus service key

Im after £5450 with the CV joint replaced and 6 months tax.

This is near enough immaculate both inside and out. It really does have to be seen.

Im not happy about selling it already but as the Mrs wont drive it, it has to go :'(

Sorry, no swaps at the moment. I am just going to be sharing the girlfriends car until we decide on a replacement.

Beautiful looking car I have to say, and what a spec, good luck with the sale!

Thanks Leodhasach

Got someone coming to view it tomorrow between 8-9am so I best take it easy at my mates house warming party tonight!

Best of luck. Didn't know you'd gone for one of these.

Knowing you, it'll be an A1 example emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Hope you get a sale tomorrow...

The Edition 100s are stunning cars; I remember looking around a brand new one in the showroom when they came out. If I didn't need an estate, I'd be seriously tempted.

Good luck with the sale!

I couldn't resist temptation with this one Wardy, but with it being such a massive car the Mrs won't drive it after her Yaris.

It's near enough a perfect car, the only problem is finding a parking space anywhere near the school that it will fit in!

After some came to view it this morning for nearly 2 hours, I nearly had a sale but please people, no offers below 5k as it is.

Just waiting on a call for another viewing so its still up for grabs at the moment.

Cav,

Still up for sale???

  • Author

Yeah, still here.

Available all day if anyone wants to view.

That guy was the first and only person to view the car but his offer of £5k was just too low. It owes me much more than that. Thanks for the heads up though

Anyway, it's had the CV replaced and the 6 months tax should be on my doormat as I type this so it's back to its full glory and will be ready to drive away.

I'm going to just leave it listed on here until the weekend when I list it on autotrader

It's a shame that we couldn't agree about the price, but my offer is still valid.

Its silly to lose a sale for £450 but on the other hand its silly to lose a car for £450. Can you guys not meet in the middle? Its a lovely looking car and it would be good for it to remain in the club.

Agreed. Hope the sale is made

I sold it a few years back, I'm sure its still on the forum though. I have had about 5 cars since that went but none compare to it. Skoda got it right with the mk1 Fabia.

Cheers Wardy  Will be sharing the girlfriends gold Yaris for a while now :(

Gold! Pimpin' :thumbup:B)

Was a nice looking car that, too much for me though :). Wonder what insurance would of been like on it too, can't imagine many 20 year olds drive a Superb.
