New and need help with modifications advice for a 1.4 8V.

Featured Replies

I'm new to driving and have happened to get a SKODA FABIA 1.4 8v SILVERLINE. I am looking at doing some minor modifications to it, to give it a new burst of life and make it a little bit more mine...

I'm looking at doing the following:

Induction kit.

Lower Springs/ Sports suspension.

Black Alloys (or) sand down and respray of the bog standard 15" alloys currently on.

Service

Air Filter

Interior/ Seat Covers

Xenon Head lamps

Removal of the black trim?

Would appreciate any comments and posts that can help me accomplish my goals. I would like to be able to build my knowledge up and would like to hear any expertise you have for me.

Welcome to Briskoda. :) I have renamed this thread and moved it from Introduce Yourself to the Fabia I forum where you are much more likely to get help and advice. Please note that you should only post one thread per subject. Your thread in Skoda Fabia Technical Guides has been deleted because you were asking a question - not posting a (DIY) guide for Fabia owners; and posting in the Octavia I forum is the wrong place too.

i like the black trim, dont loose it

fist do a complete service, then go from there, the stock air filter seemes very good so i would opt for a mufflerectomy (if sound sportier is what your looking for)

seat covers are a must on all cars IMO they help a lot in the look and protect the interior

cant say about spraying the stocks, do'nt know witch ones you are talikg about but i dont like black rims on silver fabia (i was driving black steelies with no cover) cus it makes the car look unfinished, but on black fabias they look great.

im personaly thinking of upgrading my bulbs (H3 and H7) to OSRAM nightbrakers from what i read, they offer all i'm looking for and chagin the parking light to led,
