Telephone errors

Featured Replies

I've recently received my Ross-Tech cable (Thanks to Gendan) and have done a fault code scan. Recently I changed my factory-fit bluetooth module (rSAP only) for the rSAP and HFP module - part 3C8035730A.

Has anyone come across these errors before? Usual Google, here and Ross-Tech searches are not very enlightening.

Thanks

Errors from when you were connecting it up? Look that way.

They're priority 4's, clear them then see if they come back. If so you'd be looking at either coding (easy to check) or a wiring error i'd think. If they don't come back after clearing, it'll just have been from when you first connected the module. The report these types of errors.

Thanks. I'll clear them at the weekend and see what happens.

It shouldn't be a wiring fault as it was a straight under-seat module swap and nothing else. Just the alarm errors now. :)

If it's working as expected then I'd say errors during the swapover as well. Was the ignition on at any point during the time the original module was removed, and the new one plugged in?

Otherwise it could be that the new module is coded slightly differently and you'll need to make some changes. But I've not heard of that being required from those who've done the swap.

Cleared the errors this morning and 4 came back. OK, that's an improvement on 7. The unit does work OK, apart from the occasional locking up when pairing. The engineer in me says if there are errors, there is a problem...

The latest scan produces

A bit more googling and thanks to fourtitude.com

http://forums.fourtitude.com/showthread.php?5045985-GSM-Module-coding

I found the long coding for it.

All I have now is

9457427 - Negative output audio channel for speech/telephone

B104F 13 [009] - Open Circuit

Freeze Frame:

Fault Status: 00000001

Fault Priority: 4

Checking the additional values, it's the left side that is open, which is odd as sound does seem to come from there.

Any further update on this I too getting same Error with 9w7 bluetooth module and RCD510 headunit on my Skoda Yeti.

By changing the code I was able to get rid of this error, but this coding disable the A2DP so you lose the music play functionality.

here is the code
