Alloy wheel repair - difficult to match colour ?

Featured Replies

Need one alloy repaired, but concerned that it won't then look like the other 3 wheels.

I'm presuming its as difficult to match the silver of an alloy wheel, as it always is to match silver paintwork.

Don't really what an alloy wheel that stands out as being different to the others.

Any experience of getting a single wheel done ?

A decent 'smart' mobile repairer should be able to get close to the original finish. Just find someone with recommendations who's local emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Ta Wardy. Hadn't realised that "Smart" repairs were possible. Already found a company that does mobile repairs, but getting recommendations is a bit harder !.

The Wheel Specialist also do 'touch up' stuff - not sure if there's one nearby you though?

Maybe a post in the Scotland section for a recommendation might be an idea?

Have a word with your dealer to see who thy use, all dealers use them
