Bolero with boot multi stack

Featured Replies

Had a Bolero head unit fitted and thought I might still be able to use my 6stack cd changer in the boot that was connected to my Stream stereo, no go for some reason? the boot mutli stack has power but it does not show up on the head unit? any ideas or just get it flogged?

Cheers

Chris.

You can have 6 CD's in the Bolero, plus an SD card slot that can take loads of albums. I would say get rid of the stacker in the boot and free up a useful cubby hole!

I think Paul007 has this setup???

Or maybe he has a Columbus ......

Are you sure there is nothing in the options for enabling an external CD changer?

Not sure why you'd want to with 6CD in-dash?

But anyway, when I upgraded my old CD changer worked without any config changes at all. I'll probably never use it mind you, with MDI interface and a 16Gb SDHC and the choice of 6 CDs inside the Bolero itself emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Decided to sell the in-boot changer, like you guys say, there is plenty of music choice from the in-dash CD's and the SD card.

I'm just going to leave mine in as it's not like I need the boot space :)

It confused me for a minute when I fitted the Bolero actually, as I thought it had CDs already loaded! Then thought the music sounded familiar and saw that it was playing from 'CD7' :D

Andy's right - I have but rarely use it. The SDHC card is more than enough really + the 6 cd's in the bolero. Now that I've flogged the stream there's no need for it. Can the power supply to it be converted to something else relatively easily if I take it out ?
