hi folks i was driving up the motorway today when the epc and traction control light came on and the car lost all power the engine was running but there was no acceleration any ideas of what this could be

Looks like it went into limp which normally clears on restart. You need to get Vagcom or diagnostic code reader to see what code it threw, & that should point you at the faulty part.

where can i get a vagcom and roughly how much are then
