Subwoofer

Featured Replies

Is it possible to fit a subwoofer in the boot, without changing the radio, it is a skoda standard one, with a 6 disk changer, and dont want to loose that function.

thanks all

Ben

Yes, most amp give you the option to be fed from a live signal eka front or rear speaker output (RCA jack only carry signal, radio output carry current) so for a sub you just have to use the left speaker output and connect it to the amp then from the amp to you sub.

you dont have to buy a huge sub, i have a 6 1/2 " bazooka w a 200Watt amp, and have to set it in the middle, if not is to loud (small car benefit)

My Fabia came with a 100w Blaublapnk (sp) sub fitted from the factory, screwed onto the rear seats and powered off the standard HU, an old 502 tape player, so I'd guess the newer ones can.

Still got it somewhere, the transformer blew and we never fixed.

The cd player in the vrs has front and rear pre-outs. I've been using mine for almost 7 years now. Just use the blapunk pre-out cable.
