I'm sorry that it isn't a skoda but hey - It gives you all something different to look at!

I now own a VW Golf GT - 3dr MK5 2007 (56) plate with 52,000 miles. There are a few minor 'niggles' with this car that I have already started to address - For example, The condition of the body work was appalling when I first got the car but now...

I took the car to a very skilled friend, who also happens to be on Briskoda - (Baker21) who gave up his weekend to help. I really can't thank him enough for the fantastic job he did with the car.

I hope that you all enjoy - If you do have any questions about the car/methods used please do post up and I will try to answer them the best I can for you.

Many thanks,

Rob.

I was sad to see the Clio go at the end of the day. Nevermind, I now have a new project to focus on.

Evening Brimma, correct - I have kept in contact with Baker for a while now. This seemed a great oppertunity for me to see his skills for myself!

The car itself was up for £9,599 and I got it for £8,900 in the end with little bits here and there thrown in.

I wasn't best pleased by the damage on the car for a start - Alloys all marked, All new centre caps needed, New drivers side window switch needed, dent in front bumper, deep scratch in rear bumper and a few other small things. These have now all been sorted and I'm chuffed with the car itself.
