Wash/Wipe problem- Fabia 2004

Featured Replies

Over the weekend purchased my first ever Skoda.

It's a nice Onyx black Fabia Comfort,2004,hatchback.

Thing is the wash wipe won't work, when I pull the lever for the liquid to come out, I can hear the pump, but nothing comes out.

I know this is an issue on many a Fabia according to these forums, but anyone got any ideas? And Yes I have checked that there isn't a pool of water on the floor where a pipe has become unattached to the pump outlet. And I'm pretty sure the jets aren't blocked, the problem is front AND rear windows.

Cheers guys.

Hello and Welcome to the forum :hi:

I have just notice this thread so that's why it you haven't had an answer yet.

You are right, the rear washer is a common problem with Fabias, and there have been many threads about it in the Fabia I section about it. There are 4 places where the washer pipes are conected. Have a look at ap0gee's answer in this thread. Rear washer jet issues... help!

The most common place it splits is at the bulkhead (which is back of the engine compartment near the air filter) which is no 2, or behind the near-side rear seat (no 1 in that post).
