Video freezes IE/Chrome

Featured Replies

Hello All,

At the moment, when I try to view videos on youtube it tries to load then freezes Internet Explorer/Google Chrome. I've googled the problem which states something wrong with the flash player, so uninstalled & redownloaded latest from adobe. Problem still occurs, I'm running windows 7. Does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

Try updating to the latest approved video drivers for your video card. fwiw, I am running the latest flash version on win 7 64bit with SP1 (installed yesterday) with Chrome and have no problems. This install of windows 7 must be at least 18 months old and it is yet to BSoD on me - expect I am tempting fate now :wonder:

Does iPlayer work ok?

I installed some automatic updates and then did a restart...all is working now, how strange. Just tried iplayer too, that works fine as well. I'm going to install the updates to my video card anyway, as I'm sure it needs them. Thanks for your help.
