NASCAR-DAYTONA-just started-fantastic

Featured Replies

Glorious coverage- beautiful day at Daytona, the summer of sport has started!

Kyle Busch already sideways at 150 mph and first caution.

Big crash on lap 29 and Jim Johnson is back to 30th or so.

The filming and production makes F1 look amateurish, it is so well done.

The drafting at 200 mph is just incredible!

Congrats to Trevor Bayne anf Ford for winning the Daytona 500, for Trevor only a day after his 20th Birthday, 5 years younger than any previous winner.

A few too many cautions but a great race for a great race series.

Would love to visit a race later in the year, Talladega perhaps. Seeing one of these cars at Rockingham last year just awesome, more impressive than R8, Ferraris etc.

I'd love to see this on tv where or how do I get to see Nascar? Do I need Sky Sport or something?

Yes, once you have Sky then you pay Premier Sport, Channel 433, £6.99 a month.

Telladega today, absolutely fantastic, even better than the F1!

Jim Johnston won by 0.002 of a second and there were 8 cars within a second at the finish.

Pushing someone at 200 mph bumper to bumper is an amazing site.

500 miles covered in 3 hours. More crashes in a single race than in a whole season of F1 (no injuries thankfully).

About 35 races in a season, giant circuits, small circuits and non-ovals. Tactics are incredbly complex and much mis-understood by most Europeans.
