I'm seriously considering a 1.2 SE DSG but I have to say the Yeti brochure has minimal information in it. I've had to resort to getting a VW Golf brochure to find out more about the DSG gearbox and a more detailed look at the radio options. On the other hand this forum has a lot of information about options to consider before deciding on which model and what trim to have. Thanks to the people who run this forum for their time and effort.

Regrettably, you have discovered what comes to all prospective Yeti owners - that finding out hard detail about the car is all but impossible from the brochure and often from dealers and/or Skoda UK too: you are right that the many experts on this site (I am not one - just a very grateful observer and learner) are by far the best and most reliable source of information.

I'm a bit too far away from you otherwise I'd invite you to come and have a look at my 1.2 SE DSG. I'm sure there must be other owners of this model who would let you look at theirs if they are close enough. James Rothwell at Allams was the most helpful when I was trying to find out about the suitability of the 1.2 DSG SE. I think he still has a demonstrator.

But do try one. We are very pleased with ours both in local use and for motorway travel.
