ok, im thinking about getting some 17" spiders on my car. Its pretty much standard mechanicly really, has anyone got a standard one with 17"s on, and if so, does it feel as quick acceleration wise or is it a bit slower?

Hi Matt.

I fitted 17" spiders to my car a few weeks ago and asked the very same questions. I also fitted Weitec Hicon GT coilovers.

There is a slight loss of power. Also, the car is slightly less economical running on a bigger wheel, but not by much from what I've seen over the 500+ miles I've covered so far.
