James (of Allams) suggested in a previous thread that Skoda UK will be making an official announcement about the sunroof availability at the end of Feb. So only a week to go now!

Chris

but don't you also need the sun to shine to make it worthwhile?

or is it that the sunroof actually produces the golden rays and warmth? B)

 It might be called a sunroof in general parlance but in my book it should be called a leave-on-tilt-in-summer-and-let-the-warm-air-out device. That it lets sun in is to me just a by product to that. So it saves me fuel by letting my AC not work so hard when I get back to the car - albeit at the cost of having to cart around said roof's 40 odd kilograms ALL the time...

Not at all, I use mine everyday to bring more natural light into the cabin. Best option I specced actually. And the only downside I was worried about before taking delivery was the performance of the glass's tint and blind in hot countries but it was a total dream in 40+ degree heat in Spain last year.

edit - Johann - out of interest; what lense did you use to take those brilliant shots?

I took those with my Canon 400D DSLR and a Sigma 10mm f2.8 EX DC Horitzontal Fisheye lens.

If you click on the link below (that is underlined in my signature) it will take you to my first post in the Owners' picture thread showing the other fish eye pics I took that day of Monster. There are also some more here.
