I just took them up to the new garage up the road where i got my service done and he was saying ill need new top plates and Anti roll bar links for the front that he will need to order? I've never heard of this, so the rough price he gave me was £250.00 labour.

Not to keen on that so I will be going to some other garage's and a friend's to see what he can do!

have you tried Unit 18? cant recommend them highly enough, Ali replaced my console bushes and im sure he will fit a lowering kit too. try giving him a PM.

tbh your probaly better changing strut tops and bearings while your at it... it only costs a few extra quid but its done properly...

and the roll bar links might as well be done while at it too

Dougie I have not mate, although I'll certainly look arround for a number for them and try, and get onto aa route finder and see how long it will take to there if its worth it haha

Top mounts and ARB links seem sensible to me, as for the price, the job is really 2 - 3 hours for the suspension alone, bushes will be a bit longer so it depends what their hourly rate is.

Just visited a garage not to far from mine where my friend know's the guy and he's doing it all for £150 inc vat on friday, pretty happy with that compared to £300 odd
