cranks but will not start

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anybody has come across this fault before.

Vehicle- skoda octavia mk 1 2.0 8 valve petrol v plate.

All was fine and now will not start, engine turns over as normal, battery etc all good, cam belt all good, fuel pump primes on turn of ignition key.

Need to check spark when daylight. Just wondering if this is a comon problem that others have come across.

Many thanks.

you need to get it vagcom'd for fault code but a good one for stopping engine from firing is the crank position sensor. Can't remember what the sensor code is G60 or something?

Edit:

just noticed my posts are 1234 :D
