I am new to Å koda and loving it so far.

My Octavia has the Nexus satnav. However, the TMC and Speech buttons are visible but disabled (and Dynamic route selection too). I don't much care about speech, but is there something I need to do to get TMC working? (On the road last night I was picking up Classic FM with no problem - reception is spotty at home - but still no TMC, and it's not showing up in the radio display.) The nav CD is GB and Ireland 2006-07.

You need to get a TMC compatible map, and even then I believe TMC only works on motorways with the Nexus.

There are 2 versions of the UK CD for the nexus, one supports TMC and is more expensive due to licensing than the one that does not.

Thanks, I'll look into it. Are there non-speech map CDs as well?

The speech is most likely just a volume setting, since that is not related to the maps.
