Hi and welcome aboard.

Welcome to Briskoda, if IIRC the 1.9 in town would get about 42-45mpg and high 50's on the open road.

Hi, I collected my 1.6 Octavia 2010 TDI Hatch two days ago and drove it the 150 miles home on dual carriageway and A roads getting 61.7mpg avergae overall, so that should give you some ides of what to expect. Also, the CR engine is a lot quieter than previous diesels I've had and the BHP of the 1.6 is still the same 105 figure as that for the 1.9 PD engine. Best of luck.
