Well decided on vrs petrol with vrs leather/maxidot/met paint/auto dim mirror and spare.Comes to bout 18500.

Been offered 11500 for my 2008/58 qashqai 2.0 petrol tekna 2wd, leaves a balance off 7k.

Seems a decent dela to me or should i be trying to get more.

Going in to A/C edinburgh on sat to see what happens.

Almost identical specification to mine (with the exception of spare!) and I opted for heated seats and rear parking sensors - I paid about £1200 less - bought via Carfile. Although in fairness I didn't have a trade-in and I had to go down south to collect.

I'm paying around 18.8k but I've got heated front seats and Xenons too.

So might be worth shopping around.

is that cash or is a trade in involved. also what part of the country.

Most dealers will do something to beat their rivaal and get your business say what youve been offered and maybe say your getting a few hundred more for tradein etc see what happens first dealer could then try to beat them so they gat something for their time invested in you already

It's all about the 'cost to change' really. How many miles has your Cashcow done?

28500

PX is on the money then. 11.5k is the exact price Glass's give for an excellent condition example of that age/spec/mileage.

So, just the better deal to get on the Octy now then emoticon-0148-yes.gif

Just waiting for carfile to get back to me as stealers in edinburgh are refusing to budge on

the octys price, vat free only no other additional discounts. Thats after trying to play them

off against each other. no movement at all. Cant even get a free extra if they offerd same and

threw in heated seats would do deal now.

That's A/C for you!! I bought a Honda Civic from them, I tried to get them to include 6 months tax (£65 IIRC) which they declined as it was against A/C policy to do so. Picked car up and they had fitted front and rear mudflaps costing £100 as a freebie!! Still can't work out the logic to that one. I had subsequent issues with the car which A/C had initially agreed to rectify, but then did a 180. I would not deal with them again!

I would try Drive the Deal.

Beware of We Buy Any Shed as they offered me £15k on my car when it was 2 months old, with 2k on the clock, full price was nearl £23k. Cars of a lesser spec were on Skoda forecourts at £20k+!!!

One last thing, I believe A/C has only recently been given a Skoda franchise so they may lack experience of the brand.

I took a run over to Chathams Skoda in Dunfermline and found them very helpful. The only reason I didn't buy from them was that I had already ordered the car via broker, both myself and SWMO were very impressed with them.
