Its crying out for a pink splitter!!! Lol.

Looks good, I think I prefer the black TT wheels though

A pink splitter is coming soon

Wouldn't have done that myself, but fair play to you! Reckon it would carry the wheels better with some spacers to get the stance right.

Personally, I'd have got it nice and low on the polished TT Comps B)

Cheers,

Andrew

I picked up my new wheels yesterday, I'm hoping they will give a much better stance!

Hilarious but tasteful! I would remove a few of the stickers though, just keeping the one on the rear window. All eyes on you? You can say that alright!

The all eyes on me is a local car club, lol

then you painted the wheels pink?

hmmm stealthy pink wheels? me thinks not.

definitely different though.

and ignore those who say its a bad use of an SE, shucks it's only some blue paint and some leather! :)

I meant going for the stealth look on the grill, lol.

Oh, and for bad use of an SE? As you've said, it's only a vRS with a few extras, lol

Its bad use of an SE

erm not sure if i like it, looked best on TT Comps polished.

i'm on the fence on this one.

Bad use of an SE? each to they're own, I bought the car, therefore I can modify it how I choose.

An SE is only a vRS with a few little extras.

Oh, and afterall, the only thing everyone dislikes is the wheels, thy can be changed at anytime, it's not as if I've sprayed my whole car pink...

Anyways, thanks for the comments so far guys! Some people like it, some people don't.

I picked up my new wheels yesterday, so this thread will be updated as I go. Next plans are, refurb the new wheels, spray foglight surrounds black, re-spray grill black, fit pink LCR splitter.

I bought Audi TT mini comps. They are in pretty good nick, no curb marks, but some of the paint is bubbling.

I'll be refurbing them myself anyway, they're going pink with black inserts.

Going to SEAT later to pick up my LCR splitter, which is also going pink, lol.

Then it's just a case of spraying my foglight surrounds gloss black, and respraying my front grill in gloss black.

Can't wait to fit it all now, lol.

Thanks for the comment as well

You sure blue wont look better? or pink to go with other bits?

Eventually I want lamin-x on my foglights and headlights like you have, so I'm thinking all the black will tie in together.

I have a spare set of foglights surrounds anyway, so I'll be spraying those and not my blue ones, so if I don't like them, I'll just put my blue ones back on, lol.

I'm keeping my grill gloss black though, as I've got some retro badges off PastyBoy coming soon as well. Pink on black for the front badge, race blue on black for the rear badge.

Mate you need to do the grill pink as well, no point doing so much and leaving the grill black, grow a pair! :)

By the way we can supply spacers which you car most certainly could do with. Mine is running 10mm fronts and 15 rears with standard wheels and they look loads better.

We also do a fairly popular remap for the fabia, if your thinking in the future ;)

Cheers, Elliott

grow a pair! :)

Lol ^^ Do as he says. I got told by the police to remove my headlight tints after argueing that they ARE legal as the beam is white or yellow and the beam pattern is fine, he says "As its non standard and dimming the beam I have to remove it". He made me start peeling it whilst he was there :( I didn't get lamin-x, I got some cheapo american ebay gear and its great! easier than thick lamin x to apply but it does really dim the beam :(. I've part done my rear lights too, If you like ill post up a picture  Good idea on getting spare fog surrounds, However there is a SE fabia breaking on ebay so if you need anything blue you know where it is.

I might have been persuaded to do the grill pink now to match my wheels, lol.

Yeah, post a pic up, I need some ideas for my rear lights, need something to go along with tha dark/tinted/smoked look.

I sanded down my foglight surrounds earlier, and bought my splitter. Just need to get them both sprayed and fitted now!

i agree with the others on the grill dude i think a black grill on the SE makes the grill look huge!! go blue or pink dude! :)

Yeah, I'm doing the grill and splitter pink, and the foglight surrounds black

Yeah, post a pic up.

Heres what the lights looked like before they went on, Couldnt deside weather do completely tint or part tint.

Did it reduce the light output on the rear lights at all? I really like the full tinted one, seems to be the look I'm after :)

Not enough for it to be a worry. I prefered that one but where theres a step in the lens its hard to wrap and up close looked rubbish where there was bubbles and stuff.

im on the edge of my seat waiting for the pink splitter and grille pic to be posted lol. Go the whole hog and get the fog surrounds pink to lol haha

One problem with pink wheels: You got red brake callipers showing through the pink steelies.

Red & pink = colour clash. Perhaps a change in colour for callipers?

Can't wait to see the other pink bits when you've done them!

Great little thread this is. Nice 'n' different!

I really should start a progress thread. Its almost completed now though...

I'm hoping they will be sprayed and fitted by the weekend, so you shouldn't need to wait too long, lol

I'm not sure what I'm doing with brake calipers yet, either black or blue, haven't made up my mind yet though, lol

It still shows the progress from the start until now

Thanks mate

I've sold the steel to another member on here, he is picking them up next weekend. They've been sprayed black now though, lol

Naa, they're not polished......yet. They'll be polished soon though :)

I've removed the threaded part of the adjuster, but the cup is still there.

What do you mean by rear rake?

The front is as low as it'll go, otherwise I'd lower the front more to match, lol

Great to meet you today Matt. Car is looking great. How did the splitter fitting go?

Stephen
