Test Drive..

Featured Replies

Well had my test drive in the new vrs yesterday an was impressed with it overall. didnt think the normal mode was anything special an tbh not that much faster than my 6n2 :S but when i put it in sport mode WOW it felt like a different car. even though you here alot of reviews saying how dull the inside is, i didnt think it was that bad and it felt really well put together. nows the decision... do i really want one??? its alot cheaper insurance, cheaper road tax, will do more mpg and even though its vw brand, im not that sure if ill be dissapointed that its not actually a vw :( anyhoo the skoda dealer is ringing me on monday to see if i want one or not. decisions decisions!

get it! I'm like a kid with a new toy... any excuse to drive it! lol..

Exactly. Had mine since August 2010, plenty of miles on and I still feel the same.

Always grinworthy, even popping 600yds to corner shop.

I'm just popping out again, we've probably run out of milk. Or something.

I know exactly what your talking about and aslong as your driving it nothing else will worry you about it.

Get it plus vat deal is on so icing on the cake.... B)

I had quite a couple of reservations - but bought it anyway :D ( I had a Mk1 vRS which was a great car )

The fuel comsumption is a factor for many people - but in your case its not so important.

Go on - buy one - you know you want to :)

Is a great car, much better value than the new Polo GTi though to be honest if money (and in my situation boot space - gone for the vRS estate) werent an issue i'd probably preference the GTi over the vRS purely for the greater premium feel. As it stands the GTi is way too expensive. VW are losing sales because of their ridiculous pricing strategy!
