Spacers

Featured Replies

I bought 15mm spacers for the front but when we tried to fit them to the rear to gauge how far the rears need spacing it seems that the hub shoulder is longer on the rear than the front? It seemed like the spacer needed the inlet part to be machined out further so couldn't test it in the end. Has anyone seen this before? Does anyone know what spacers fit the rear hub 100%?

I've got pcd adapters on mine pushing out 25mm on all four and didn't seem any different to the fronts?

I've got 20mm H&R Trak+ bolt on jobbies on the rear of my mk4 Ibiza with standard Cupra alloys and lowered a little

I had some 20mm hubcentric jobbies on the back for a day. They scrubbed a lot when going down bumpy roads. That's with spiders and hicon gt's on the lowest setting with the adjuster in.

That's really helpful. 15mm's it is. :)

I tried some 20mm spacers off a mate and yeah they rubbed but the main problem is that they also didn't fit properly. There was a 1-2mm gap between the spacer and the hub, I kept tightening up the bolts to 'pull' the spacer on but it didn't feel nice when driving and squeaked too. This is the 2nd set I've tried now.

I spoke to Jamie @ Unit 18 and he said the hubs are slightly different on the rear... So does anyone have any 15mm spacers on the rear of their Fabia which fits OK?

does it have something to do with the bigger rear discs?

I ran the SAME 15mm hubcentric spacers (Eibach ones) and there were no issues fitting to front or back. So not sure exactly what the issue was here?

Similar here too,

I ran Eibach 20mm hubcentric at the rear, and 15m upfront, never an issue.

iv got H+R front and rear spacers, 10mm front and 15mm back and iv experiance no problems either
