Trim removal

Featured Replies

hi there, does anyone know how to remove this? :)

This is for the benefit of myself, and Nick P!

All the best.

Nik

Someone with ETKA would be invaluable here - so they can post a pic of the exploded diagram for this area.

There's a few around with it, so hopefully you'll have some more info in the morning.

You swapping it for something else? :)

Yup, Nick P is having my piano black gear, as it's a very hard finish to replicate, so would be a shame to paint over it. So I'm having his silver parts to paint, and he's having my black trim to install on his :)

Just removed them from mine. The one to the left of the steering wheel pops off extremely easily with trim removal tool or similar. The glove box one is secured by three screws and no clips. You have to drop the glove box down to get to them. Dropping the glove box is 3 screws at the top (accessible with the glove box open), two at the bottom and one at the side (pull the side panel off the dash to get to it). It sounds like a faff, but it's really easy and less than 5 mins to do.
