With regards to a decent bodyshop in Kent - my mate is a painter at Motorcare in Tunbridge Wells - Lambo, Porsche, Ferrari and Skoda etc Approved

Thankyou I've seen a local shop that seems to do good repairs. Think ill let them do it when I get around to it. Im starting to let the car go a little as I know itll never look perfect.

mines a full system with de-cat and its louder then the blueflame and if its mapped for the decat should be fine?

Ross likes the loud and proud approach. He's currently running a full Miltek (decat) with a custom Powerflow (IIRC) backbox with no sound deadening so it's pretty loud/raspy to say the least. It makes a cool flutter noise on gear changes though but it's pretty marmite all round to be honest. I keep telling him we need to get a video of a fly-by and other stuff, I'm sure we'll get one soon...

I really need to get my arches repaired badly and grille colour coded and mirror resprayed. If anybody knows the ferrare/lamborghini ect approved place in kent or any highly recomended place could I please have some details. Heres some of the damage

Ouch, mines starting to flake, but no paint has come off yet, I'm just really careful around the rear arch when washing! has yours done it because of any spacers? or just hard driving?

Hope you get them sorted, how are you going to avoid it next time? wider arches?

OK, after my crash my car is finally in the body shop with new DEPO headlamps and new HID's from hidsdirect.co.uk. I'm replacing all the plastic pieces on the front (numberplate surround, grilles and fog grilles)It's also having a new wing and side repeator. Ive bought second hand undertray, inner arch liners. All new bumper rails and badge.

I'm having the entire car painted including the chrome grille on the front.

I just hope it turns out perfect as im the most fussy **** ever when it comes to paint inperfections.

I'll have a SE blue grille spare if anybody is interested.

Not sure how much ill want for it yet.

I hope so. My mates car went in not too long ago and has some tiny inperfections but ive told him how fussy im gonna be. Lets hope he takes a little more care.

He's accepting my mates car back in to have it re-done.

... About the side repeater.. there was a thread up on here a couple of weeks ago where some guy was saying they've discontinued them in the right colour for the Fabia vRS and that the Octy part has replaced it, but that the Octy part is actually a shade or two lighter on the tint...

When I rang up to order I got offered the light one or the tinted one. I bought the tinted one. if its different ill get one for the other side.
