Dunno if I am a late adopter , but just started playing the Crysis 2 demo and ..........................WOW

Graphics and game play are really astounding. Makes Black Ops looks like the lame console xbox port that it is.

Only played the demo for maybe 30mins or so. Runs incredibly smooth on my system. ( All at max @1920x1200 @27" )

Has some really neat game play / graphic touches.

Playing in demo noob lobbies , so its all a bit console orientated run and gun type play atm. I do hold out hope of it becoming more tactical / hard. Although there are HQ type games on the demo.

Not sure how the back end will pan out for the full game, but the demo is GameSpy powered lobby type. Lets hope for dedicated.

We played for another little bit last night. Liking it quite a bit. Needs to be toughened up a little, well a lot actually to bring it in line with our normal game play, so hope there will be some server control.

I have not played the futuristic soldier type game in a while, so it was a nice departure.

And , yes, I have managed to STOMP on a few players. Usually get killed in the process though.

Servers now ready for pre - order I see. Which bodes well for full dedicated.

If you like war games but prefer the more abstract side of life, I would recommend trying Perigon. I've never actually played it before but it looks kinda cool.
