Tut tut, get it on the stiffest setting!

Nice one dude! I'm fitting mines next week. Can't wait to see the different it makes! :D

Hardest setting can cause snap oversteer apparently.... Fitted mine a few weeks ago and there is a noticeable difference immediatley! The car just feels more planted, even in a straight line!

i wanna get this, what setting is advised to have it on?

Probably will do in the future, left it on middle so i can get used to it first!

I concur. He's got Eibachs, so the car's already much less prone to roll. On standard suspension, the car moves about more, so a RARB will have relatively bigger effect.

Only caveat is if his rear tyres are "worse" in any way than the fronts. Mine requires respect at the moment when it's wet and greasy. The rears just can't keep up with two newish PZeros on the front.

I never really noticed a difference with mine until my vRS met an empty A82 beside Loch Lomond, God it was good fun!

Mines on the middle setting, but not for much longer!

Glad you all love your RARB , I must admit , I never did tire of telling people how good they are :D

The new owner of mine still says how good the handling is

So thumbsup here on these

i must admit , mine was always on the middle setting , but then I did drive like a girl LOL

ARB - if you do no other mod, DO THIS!

Get it on stiff ya wuzzz

didn't really notice much of a differenece when i had it fitted (middle seting)

but i had my car lowered on eibach springs and at the same time my RARB put on the stiffest setting all i can say is WOW made a massive difference

Like a Go-Kart now compared to before.

are there any disadvantages at all with having a RARB fitted ??

from what ive been told the only disadvantage is if you have crap rear tyres then itll pull your pants down in the wet! ive not been out in the wet yet but we'll see! Other than that. im massively impressed with it so far as the car feels sooooooo much more controlled and tight in corners.

Cheapest place to buy one?

Nope. Best mod you can do on the vRS. I didn't find mine bad in the wet.

Havent fitted 1 on mine yet, may do in the future, ive got coilovers so unsure how much difference would be noticeable as its sooo much better than OE on weitecs anyway

Vrs Goldie jon - if you havent got 1 already, you should get a JDM rear ARB on the civic , they make a big difference also [and very cheap] ive got the part no's if you want them pm me

This is why you should always have your best tyres on the rear, regardless of whether you have a RARB or not. Understeer's a lots easier to deal with than oversteer. New tyres on front for a front wheel drive car is a complete fallacy*.

*nearly typed phallusy then, which would have made me look like a right d*ck. :D
