Just noticed toady that when i stick it in Airplane mode that the little airplane flies in. then when you turn it off it flies away.

Brilliant. But have you noticed that some airlines will not let you use your iPhone on board at all even with airplane mode switched on?

only during take off and landing on the ones I've been on.

Must be an iOS4 thing cos my 3GS does it.... In fact i'm pretty sure it did it when on iOS3.

I shunned the 'five years ahead of it's time' crap that apple palmed off on people with the original iPhone but decided that i would get the phwar.

I've only just started using the airplane mode so only just noticed it.
