I have just got this one home and i am going to share progress here................

Presuming photo 4 is "as purchased", and the others represent a wash, looking good so far.

It needs new tyres though; those ones are well and truly out of date, being about 20 years old.

Why 120?

I thought they were all 1300's?

Nope, Garde Rapids (i.e. the coupe of the Super Estelle not the mk2 that everyone knows) had the same engine as Estelle 120s, although it did have a higher output version than most. It was the first car to have the semi trailling arm rear suspension but it had narrow track like the mk1s and Supers. Bet you wish you handt asked now!!

So what years were they?

I had a yellow ex SUK Rapid, D 876 FYE. That was def a 1300!

I'm sure it was by then........the mk2 Estelle took over from the Super Estelle in 1984. The Garde Rapid was made from 1982 to 1984. D reg would equate to 1986 or 1987.
