Hi, I've just taken delivery of a Superb Elegance with the Columbus satnav/ice. Sadly when i ordered it i didn't realise that to have my ipod connected to the head unit and operated from the head, i would need to have the MDI connection option at £155. My question is, i presume the columbus has a connection for the MDI on the back. Is it possible to remove the head unit and connect the ipod to MDI adaptor direct without the option socket in the glove box. If so, what is the series of operations to remove the unit? Why not copy the music onto a DVD and then load directly onto your hard drive in the Media unit in the Columbus, it worked for me

Or another way which is just as easy ... put them all on a SD card.
