My mate has had enough of his civic type R and headed the way of the mitsubishi lancer evo7 RS2 FQ300, quite a mouthfull indeed. had a little drive of it myself today I WANT ONE :cool: 0-60 in a little over 4 seconds (has had the 330 upgrade aswell. I thought to myself, I am going to take my time here :D he told me to boot it and who am I to argue :eek: awesome acceleration, and hanlding, and stopping so all in all a truly wonderful "drivers" car. :thumbup:

Wish I could get a ride in one of those...Did you know there's an FQ-400 out? And there is also an EVO VIII which was modded by one company that does 0-60 ni just 2.6 seconds? That's real quick...

Prices are pretty reasonable for EVOVII now.....but as Chris said running costs are quite step...economy is preety bad and it's only got a 55litre petrol tank.

Short service interval and a regualr diff oil change all hike up the costs.

Yeah the salesman warned him of high running costs, but he is a very lucky man with a LARGE dispensable income (lucky bugger). So the only thing I have to look forward to is looking after it when he goes to saudi for a month :-) Don't you just love mates like them :-)

I have a friend with a EVO VII and its awesome, you cant beat 4WD , to mention running cost etc is irrelevant, you dont buy one unless you can afford to run it :confused: ?
