Installing bonnet pin switch

Featured Replies

Most of you out there will have an integrated bonnet pin switch as standard, but this was not included on all models including the classic. I was just wondering if anyone had fitted a bonnet pin switch and had any tips on a good location to put it? Due to the design of the engine bay area it looks difficult to get it anywhere within the seal. There are pre-existing holes near the headlights in the rain gutter but water and corrosion would probably make it a bad idea. The other location I was looking at was near the air intake duct and spacing it away from the seal with some washers.

Thanks in advance :)

Slam panel is fine, but I always used a bracket to allow for better adjustment of the switches used.
