seems i have another problem now...

The buzzer no longer sounds when the door is opened with the lights on. Any ideas? Will this lead to other problems?

Does the interior light still work off the drivers door?

Might just be the switch/sensor has failed. If not, the buzzer itself is in the dash/dail pod IIRC.

Could lead to a dead battery I guess. . .

Three possible causes, Drivers door lock, Dash panel buzzer, ignition switch.

Checking drivers door lock, does the interior light come on when door opened? If not lock goosed

Checking Dash panel buzzer, does it beep if you drive with the handbrake on, if not, dash panel goosed.

Checking ignition switch, leave radio on and remove key from ignition, does radio turn off? if not ignition switch goosed.
