Oh no, he's finally done it....

Also, with that great modded example above - is it me, or are those lots of stick-on 'shark fin' aerials, along the lovely spoiler?!

You might be right about how they got the parts, but I'd put money on the "idea" being inspired by the vortex generators that Subaru put on the roof trailing edge of some of the variations of the Impreza WRC. This would work if they were correctly sized and placed, but you need a wind tunnel to find the right placements.

No you don't. The person who made this obviously has as much understanding as an aerodynamics expert, but doesn't need the unecessary fripparies such as wind tunnels and diagnostic software. He/she has seen a picture of a car with a diffuser and has instantly grasped the concept and applied it to their VX R.

To my untrained eye, it looks like it would work.

 No, I'm wrong aren't I?

If you put it on a treadmill, would it take off?

With any luck, it will get high enough to be written off on landing!

I was thinking more that I wish it floated off into space :giggle: There is even a song about it Moon Chav's

Thought they'd borrowed the idea from the FQ400 Evo but either way - well implemented

My condolences Gwilo. What happened?

woman, rising threat of of P45. Just trying to get ahead of the game.

It's not that bad really. a lot lighter handling than the VAG stuff I've been driving. It's just not brilliant.

And, like a thousand Astra taxi's that I've sat in, it sounds like a bag of rusty bolts in a washer on spin cycle.

I have to say i like the Astras, more so the SRi with XP pack on them. Really suits it.

Owned 4 Vauxhalls, and 4 Skodas, the Vauxhalls were far more reliable !
