Fabia MkII Vrs Maxidot

It's a bit limited in it's functions. The Octavia version seems to be more Advanced and you can do a lot more with it.

So I gather. I have the highline computer in my Golf which is exactly the same thing. I'm able to control all my convenience features such as door locking and window opening and closing on mine. I gather this is not possible on the Fabia, really not sure why. Also on the Golf its controlled vai the MFSW rather than the wiper stalk which makes it alot nicer to navigate. Not sure if the addition of the Telephone MFSW then allows this?

Could a recode unlock these hidden functions? I guess Skoda have done this intentionally to make the system more primitive against is bigger siblings. In any case its ultimately just a trip computer and performs this function very well. I think its good that all variants have a trip computer but the Maxi-dot display is alot nicer than the basic unit.
