Maxidot and audio display.

Following on from this thread elsewhere, it would appear that either I'm confused or the display has changed over time. On my car all the "audio" displays are on the Bolero screen, and nothing to do with the radio appears in the MFDS.

So, has there been a change in the format of the MFDS or is this something else that is switchable in the "system"?

If so, can the SD card/aux tracks be displayed here to?

I have Columbus rather than Bolero, but all audio information can be displayed on the maxidot screen as well as on the unit itself.

Just choose audio in the maxidot display.

When I go through it with the roller I don't have "audio"!!

if you have a multfunction wheel then press the back arrow to get back to the main menu where settings etc. are and select audio, or if you dont have MFSW then press and hold the button on the end of the wiper stalk and select audio. The option does not appear by simply scrolling through the mpg etc.

So it is in the "hidden" menu.

Right, now I know where to look!!

When you select the setup for the MFD and the radio is on, the display will show MFD, Audio, Setup. You can then select Audio for the radio info to appear.

Don't know much more as I don't bother with it!!:dull:

I use the 'hidden' menu all the time as I have built in navigation. As stated above, press the back key and scroll down and then select. If it doesn't appear, and the radio is on, which does occasionally happen, switch off the car and then restart aka windows reboot. emoticon-0140-rofl.gif
