Anybody tried one of these?

Featured Replies

im sure you can enable it via vagcom anyway

only if the car has "confort mode" option

Thought you could do it on any vrs?

I purchased one of these when I got my VRS. They do exactly what they are supposed to.

You may be able to do it via VAGCOM, but I wouldn't know how, so this achieved what I wanted quickly and easily.

Yeah I don't have vagcom so thought I might buy one of these. I'm up at unit 18 on Monday getting some trick bits fitted so will ask Ally if it can be done via vagcom.

If not then it's good to know it will work.

Cheers

I see it gives two different part numbers for the convenience module on the Octavia, one where you have to hold the lock button and one where it shuts it all up on one press. Where is the module located so I can check the part number?

Have also noticed that Shark offer a reprogramming service which would appear to cover this sort of thing so may have to get in touch with them about getting it done :)

Anyone tried one of these?

Yes. Works well.

I have an alientech controller which gives me more options, like vent, drop all windows, close all windows from the standard keyfob.
