There are a number of companies who deal with warranties for the +3 year old motor. There is even one now advertising on the TV. Think i've seen an advert recently in one of the mags but was about £ 30/month for a standard car and £ 60/month for a Cayman.

seems a lot but will depend on the terms and conditions and what is actually covered.

I bought mine through my local dealer. Came in handy when the turbo went lol
