faulty central locking

Featured Replies

I currently have a 2006 l&k 2litre TDI saloon.

The rear nearside door has started playing up, not opening intermittantly. The door can be opened from the inside but won't open with the remote on door open button on the key fob. This does not happen all the time probably once every coule of days.

Anyone got any ideas ??

Hello mate, did you ever get an answer to this as my front passenger door has just started doing exactly the same..

Cheers.

Hello the door catches themselves do have a habit of going faulty the easiest way to check it would be to change it to all door unlocking instead of single then all unlocking. Of it opens nomally then it's more than likely a convenience unit fault if it still fails then it's probably the catch but it's worth checking the wiring as you never know. Hope this helps
