Good start there mate. Silver with black wheels definately looks good!

I hope coilies are next on your list, looks like she's on stilts. Take your side strips off as well. Costs you nothing and makes it look a lot better! B)

I didn't recognise the name mate! Get them on and will look a lot better. Always been a fan of the s3 wheels. When I had my s3 I had them refurbed black!

Got to admit I'm not a fan of the big mouth conversion. Think the meshy grill makes them look like halfords specials!

I done a whole thread on it here:

Personally I think its my favourite mod so far. Gives off a lot more turbo spool and a nice deep exhaust note (but not too much that its annoying, its only really when you give it the beans that you get the full effect).

Looking good. Will look much better when it's lowered :) I'd change the door pillars to black (sorry don't know the technical name... B pillars maybe??). Really like the black wheels against the silver!

Who's done your remap?

Anyone know how difficult it is to fit lowering springs?

  • 3 months later...

FINALLY fitted some 55mm supersport lowering springs and here is the result:

Admittedly the ride is a little on the bumpy side (ok very bumpy lol) but I got them for a very good price and I'm happy with how it looks. Can also go round corners a lot better than before and hopefully the addition of a rarb will help with that.

Presumably you are running your old OE shocks with the

new springs. Do keep an eye on them as the drop will have put them

under more compression which in turn may accelerate wear, particularly

as they'll have some degree of wear already.

It's why I bit the bullet and bought a matched set of springs and shocks

a couple of days ago. I did look at the supersport setup myself but ended up

taking a punt on the Vogtland set from DPM.

The drop looks nice though

Your new springs will have dropped a vRS by about 40mm,

it would only be 55mm with other variants as the vRS is already 15mm lower than those.

My new set is 40mm on a standard Fabia but will be 25mm on my vRS which suits me.

I'm too old for lows :D
