After i decided to upgrade the brakes on the Vrs i found a member on here selling a '312mm' setup complete!

Only to find he had the Golf 288 setup :'( this was not figured untill i fitted the Calipers and lined everything up!

The past fair few month i have just been looking for a pair of 312 Carriers to go on the car and i came up trumps!

What turned up today where a pair or BRAND NEW! 312mm Caliper Carriers! all posted for about £93! Bargin i think! and its a pair!

Just need discs and pads now! but alls i will say children is beware of the setups they look EXACTLY the same apart from the hole spacing between the hub fitement and the caliper fitment!

Was the Carriers i got for £93

Caliper + 288 Carriers + Pads + Discs came to - £100

i could re use the old pads and just put the new carriers and discs in but its advisable to change pads at same time as discs.

TBH go and get them all as a complete 312 set, this turned out to be a PITA!

Also if you get the carriers from a Stealer new they are £90 EACH!

I think you will find it was just the carriers for that price :yes:

jesus christ im prob beta off trying to find a 2nd hand set then, what bout if i bort the mintex discs and pads then bort carriers and calipers seperatly wud that be beta

312mm Carriers + Calipers tend to sell close to the £200 mark depending on condition and time of yr.

then 108 for discs and pads.
