Featured Replies

lol. I'd rather an m3, golf r32 or rs4 for looking mean! No one moves out of the way when there's a fabia up they're arse.

Never mind, still luv mine. :)

mine scares people all the time lol  dont get an r32, everyone has them, get vxr8 for mean looks lol or even better, a fabia, its the best looking ugly car ever lol

Lol, i'm loving the VTEC comments. Get a vRS with Xenon's, they soon get out of the way. That graph is quality btw

You're lucky.. you have both :D:thumbup:

I think that's the decision i've come to.

Nothing beats the VRS on a combination of power/speed/comfort and 50mpg and is ideal for long distance and the daily commute.

And if i feel like a hooligan i can go out in the Beezer and hang on to 2nd and 3rd gears until the read line.

Staying foot to the floor using the entire length of 3rd gear for many many seconds still seems wrong given the short gearing and torquey delivery of the Fabia.

I often listen the the noise and think jesus I must be doing a million miles an hour by now....oh no just 75 :giggle:

I drive my father in laws v8 vantage more than he does, and then when i get back in the furby its so easy to drive. Don't get me wrong, the Astin is awsome but its not easy to drive. ;)

I think sometimes all i want is something with some poke and comfort and the vrs fits the bill.

If i want something fast and fun the two wheeler comes out everytime.

I just came from a 200bhp Ibiza cupra and must admit the VRS is not the drivers car of the year...however i do enjoy the fact that it is cheap to run tax and insure! and with a remap and decent set of coilies can be a lot of fun...

However my petrol turbo itch needs to be scratched and so i am now looking for a Evo 2 or 3 or possibly a starlet for the summer!

and the Furby will be sitting under cover for the next few months!

After reading some threads about provoking the rear to have a bit of sideways action, I attempted to test that theory. I done a soft Scandinavian flick in conjunction with liftoff oversteer the other day and that raised some points on the entertainment level :D very controllable but really needed to put some effort into it.

What you need is a Morris 1000 petrol and the VRS. Believe me, the VRS still thrills me 3 years on  That said, I am still thinking of getting a Westfield, 0-60 in 2.1 seconds is pretty amazing, but the real buzz is in the corners. You can chuck a sorted Westie into corners at insane speeds (on a track). The only down side, is a noodle full of bugs :D

Go fot it! I got a Westy a couple of years ago (only 0-60 in 4ish but plenty for my 'talent'!) but will never get rid of the Fabia VRS. Had the VRS since Oct 2003 now and its been faultless, lots of memories. (PS Check out the boardroom http://www.wscc.co.uk/ B) )

I'm starting to get bored of my vRS but I have had it for 3 years. Just want something that handles better and has a bit more go. Love the torque the vRS has though even as standard. Thinking of keeping the vRS since I still need something to carry the kayak about and then once I get a proper job buying a second car to enjoy. Thinking Elise/Exige

I think that's it in a nutshell. Ideally derv for the everyday stuff, petrol as a fun weekender. Whichever way I look at it, as I've done many a time, it comes down to a 2-car plan :)

Watch me go off and scour PH now I've said that emoticon-0140-rofl.gif

Love my wee furby,if i feel the need to act like a hooligan i take 1 of the bikes out
