LED Glove Box Light

Featured Replies

Has anyone changed this to a LED bulb (or anything that's white)? It's the only bulb left on the card that is a nasty yellow colour.

Also, does anyone know if you can get brighter bulbs for rear lights such as the indicators, brake lights, etc?

You can't get brighter rear bulbs. They are VERY obvious and will get you nicked very rapidly. Imagine someone driving around with foglamps for rear lights and you get the idea.

I have. Can't remember for the life of me the size of it though. It's a very small "festoon" type. 32mm? Got it from UltraLeds... which is blocked at work :(

Luke,

You're rapidly running out of things to mod on the car now aint ya ! :D

As standard they seem very dim though, even compared to my nan's Corsa B... I'm not talking about fitting HID's as brake lights or anything () but just a bit brighter basically.

Anyone?

Just pop the bulb out measure it and order one. I hardly use my glovebox cos it's got a ps2 in lol.

Glovebox is a 31mm festoon.

Changing the rears to LEDs potentially will be a pain in the hoop!

Brake lights will need resistors fitted otherwise the glowplug light will flash constantly and the outer elements of the high mount will be constantly on!

Indicators will need resistors fitted otherwise you'll get the rapid 'bulb blown' flash!

Reverse lights you could do!

Tail/Fogs AFAIK this bulb type is unavailable!

Brighter tail lights?

Take out your brake light bulbs and swap them in place and you'll see a big difference....

As for the glove box its a festoon type bulb, a small one but im not 100% on the actual size.

I too am interested in this as its all I have left to change too lol have you changed the one In the ash trash? Lol
