Just Purchased 2 new Toyo t1R for the spiders

Hi guys,

Just thought Id post this as I have been looking around for ages to get 2 new Toyos.

I have never had them before but they came on the 51 plate Octavia vRS I got to take parts off to sort my 05 plate one out. Seen as they were the std Spiders I thought Id keep them too and chop n change between my 18" TD Pro Race 1.2 that now have Falken 452s on and these Black 17" spiders with Toyo t1Rs on.

Ive been looking around for the cheapest way of doing it and Ive bitten the bullet and gone BlackCircles £184.96 fully fitted for 2. The fronts are very low and Id say they will be borderline by the time they come to be changed next week. Gonna run them on 225 45 17 seen as the back ones are ok, then change them to 205 50 17 toyos.

I have found that these are soooo much better on fuel than the TDs. even tho the TDs are a lot lighter?? random really.

Well there we go, if anyone is looking for tyres, shop around.

I couldnt find them cheaper ne were else. Camskill was the cheapest for the tyre but every where I tried to fit them wants 15-22 squid. then postage on top.

is that a good price or did I miss something out?
