vRS TSI Shark Stage 1

Featured Replies

Sorry all, but couldn't find the answer with a search!

So, as per the title, how much torque with a Shark Stage 1 on a vRS TSI 2010?

Are you out there Ben?

Cheers

not to sure tbh, but with the vRS TFSI at stage 1 you would expect 270-280lbft. The new vRS TSI is more receptive to a remap and makes more torque, so id say your'll get about 280-300lbft.

Thanks buddy. Sounds good. Planning ahead. Car only 7 months old, but will almost certainly head up to Shark as warranty nears its end.......

Anyone got the quoted / expected torque figure?

Thanks for the responses guys!

Ben, I'd be with you sooner if it wasn't for my concerns about my warranty!

Your STS might be the answer, but it's a little pricier.

With the normal Stage 1 map, would I expect warranty issues if there's a failure?

In reality though, how likely is it that the dealership will notice?

My folks are in Leicestershire, so a weekend with them and a trip to Mansfield would be all too convenient!

The torque curve on that graph is a bit iffy, around 256hp the torque dips then comes back up then heads down again
