when i try and close my drivers side window it goes all the way up but then it will open again nearly all the down again,does anyone know what is going on with my crazy window.

Is it not something setting the auto sensor? I.e is there nothing obstructing the window from shutting?

This happens if there's something in the way (e.g a childs hand). Presumably the window motor can detect if too much force is needed to wind it up in to the door frame. It's quite common for people who have wind deflectors to experience this - I did.

I guess make sure there's nothing lodged inside where the top of the window will sit?

If there's nothing obvious jaming the window channels try some silicon spray - did the trick on my husbands last Audi.

TIP: dont use auto up, hold it on the first click to wind it up till you have about 1cm leave it a couple of seconds, then all the way up on the first click on the switch.

Do this a couple of times and should be hunky dory!

When i fitted my deflectors i seemd to have to teach the window the metal clips where meant to be there
