any one going to this?

any one going to this?

Possibly, i see there's no Skoda badge on the logo!

I'd be interested but I fancy a long section on the banked oval & I can't quite make out how long you get in the vid.

Doesn't look too long to me?

No skoda badge due to lack of space we had for the sticker logo - you are most definitely welcome though.

As you will have noticed from the French Car Show site - it is on the same day, but that was due to a booking problem with Rockingham so for the first year it is 2 shows for the price of 1. Next year if the show does well this year, we are hoping to a) hold it on it's own day and B) perhaps move to an even bigger location.

Hope to see you there - I'll be easy to find on the magazine stand all day - please come and say hello

Although we're part of the VAG family, shouldn't this really be restricted to actual German manufacturers??

Seems a bit odd to invite the Czechs and Spaniards to the German Car Show? emoticon-0143-smirk.gif

It's clearly the French/German/Czech/Espania Car Show. Next year i hear they're inviting the Brits along. Been a while since i've seen a pimped up Rover 75. :D

If it's a diesel 75, it does have BMW-sourced engine in it. So does that count this year??

Well what a load of ****.no Germany cars all French ****

Very poor

That's because the idea of a joint show was canned.

It was always going to be the French Car Show, just with German stuff tagged on.

update...... flyer says it's been cancelled

Like I say, the joint idea was canned. What the organisers did was try to tag on the German Car Show onto the date/venue of the French Car Show. In the process they moved all the French car exhibits away from the central area at Rockingham.

It all kicked off, and to be honest, rightly so as it was supposed to be the French Car Show from the outset. The organisers re-considered, but then forgot to inform anyone directly that the German part of the show was no longer happening. As in, they registered on here with a logon - why didn't they come back on here and update or delete the thread? Therefore they managed to annoy both camps, at some point in the 'organisational' process. Well played overall I'd say emoticon-0114-dull.gif

Hope this helps.
