I've just ordered my first ever Skoda in the form of a Fabia vRS.

After much perusal of these forums and several visits to the dealers - i've ordered my car today.

I went for Green with a black roof and dark chrome wheels. I went for Amundsen Sat Nav, Climatronic air con, Heated seats, and the arm rest.

Love the car, amazing drive - although as mentioned here I did notice the supercharger lag of about half a second - but, hey ho - a minor flaw considering.

I paid £15,180 in total. I feel like I got a good deal. After the VAT deduction I got 300 off the list price plus 100 off the GAP insurance and a tank of fuel.

Can't wait - although the current maximum delivery time is 18 weeks which is depressing. Compared to the Polo and Ibiza of similar spec I feel like the Fabia is a whole lot of hot hatch for the money which is why im tolerating the delivery time and minor flaws (tacky interior door handlesfor starters).
