Brake upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi all now i know this topic has been covered with the R32 calipers and Porsche 996/Boxter ones. I know that the Audi RS4/RS6 and the big reds Porsche 6 pots can also be fitted.

My question is can the likes of the Mitsubishi EVO or the Impreza WRX calipers be fitted as these are excellent brake setups and a more common that the r32 setup hence a deal being possible.

I know the discs aint gonna fit as the stud pattern is different, but surely its possible to get discs 5 x 112 around the 330-340mm mark and be the right thickness to take these calipers?

Im gonna start having a gander but any info appreciated on this folks.

Piston sizes might not suit our cars.

Clearance to the wheels will be a pain, the clearance on my 18" OEM wheels is not all that big at all to the brake calipers.

Theoretically possible though, but cost a fair bit through trial and error to find something suitable, if at all.
