Seat Exeo

Featured Replies

Seriously considering a new Exeo sport tech as replacement for vRS.

TSI engine with 211 BHP, full leather, Bose stereo, sat nav everything really!!

Can I "get over" the seat badge though?!

I think I can when you look what you get for dosh!

Thoughts or alternatives with same spec and engine.... Oh and price!

So your on a Skoda forum, and your questioning the Seat badge?:rofl::rofl:

Owning both a Seat and a Skoda, i know which one gets all the badge snob comments. (Clue it isn't the Seat)

Go for it.

There have been a few threads on this recently.

Nothing wrong with the Seat badge. We're a Seat / Skoda house too.

General thinking seems to be to get one 2yr old because the initial depreciation is steep. Good buy at that age.

I just swapped an 06 plate Fabia VRS for a 14 month old Exeo, 2.0tdi S(143) with 4,000 miles, extras of heated seats, metallic paint and rear air bags. The Fabia needed 2 tyres, new rear brakes/discs, new front bushes, new vacuum unit, new exhaust and the turbo was whining, so it needed a fair bit spending on it.

I paid less 60% of list price when new, if you factor in the P/X for the fabia (which was £5800). This included a new leather steering wheel and a service. This made it much cheaper than any of the others I saw incl the car supermarkets.

They must be struggling to shift them, I've yet to see another one on the roads. I guess it will not be worth much when I come to get rid, but hey ho it's a more civilised place to be in the daily commute.

I think I've seen two or three of them since this initially came up a week or two ago. I'm tempted to go for one next time too.....

I'll be tempeted with the face lift 2.0 TSI ST Sport Tech when I come to change the A4.

They`ve been out how long? and they facelifted them already?

Yup, new engines, multitronic auto box, LED rear lights....... and small alterations here and there. The big difference internally is that they've increased the rear leg room by altering the seats. Something the B7 A4s that the EXEO is based on suffered from.

Ahhh, I see. A lot of car for your money there, look quite nice with the sport kit on them

So am I but..... They don't do Tech extras and Tsi engine together.

D'oh!

Trying to think of a way round using option list, or may have stick to 170 diesel.

I really fancied that Tsi though.... Where's the vRS option book .........?

I'm Seriously tempted by one of these myself come autumn (barring apocolypse) to replace the Fabia Bohemia probably go for the base model saloon with the 140 TDI

Rumor has it, the tech pack will eventually reach the TSI engine'd exeos by sept.
