Front bumper

Featured Replies

Hi there, first post on here..

I'm currently looking for a new car for the other half & found a 2004 Fabia, with low mileage, in very nice nick & drove beautifully.

There are a few minor scratches as expected, but she spotted that the corner of the front bumper had come away. It's hard to describe but it looked very minor, it's the top corner next to the wheel arch. It looks to me like the previous owner has had a minor ding & it's popped out. This was enough to put her off. What I want to know is, is this easy to pop back on? Could there be other damage underneath?

It seems a shame as it was keenly priced & lovely to drive.

Thanks

It's all plastic clips and a couple of screws that hold the bumper on, it will fit back as long as there is no crease in the plastic bumper. Check the wheelarch and wing for alignment in case of further damge. Bargain hard if it's the car you want.

There is a little nack to getting them back in, and then a torx screw/bolt secures it from the inside, through the wheel arch liner.

Thanks both, the car is still for sale, so will go back at the weekend for further inspection, hopefully I can convince her it's OK.

Cheers
